The "General Specifications for Concrete Structures" that will be implemented from April 1, 2022, has mandatory regulations on the use of sand and gravel for structural concrete.

The state has made mandatory regulations on the solidity of sand and gravel, mud content, mud content, chloride ions and other indicators, and the standard also puts forward technical requirements for the application of machine-made sand.

However, at this stage, some industry manufacturers do not pay attention to the quality of sand and gravel, so the quality of sand and gravel on the market varies. There is still a large market gap for high-quality sand and gravel that is comparable to river sand. For this reason, there is no shortage of market for high-quality machine-made sand; but the production of high-quality machine-made sand requires the support of a complete sand-making production line.
